Sirphey Cafe-The Secret Burger Spot Near Los Alamos You Didn’t Know You Needed
So there was this rumor in my foodies groups about a cafe at Bandelier National Monument that serves really great (worth the drive) burgers and other items. The cafe is called Sirphey Cafe. It was time to check it out.
Well…guess what? It’s true! What’s really cool is that there is a cafe in a tourist attraction that actually wants to serve real quality food. This is a definite go for White Rock and Los Alamos residents. Also, if you want to take a break from our not-so-tiny desert town and check out Bandelier. The drive up and back is, of course, like driving in a scenic postcard and part of the fun, and why we love our state so much, right?
The New Mexico True Burger: Angus chuck, double cheese, caramelized onions, and green chile on a brioche bun. Served with a spring mix salad made with seasonal vegetables and berry vinaigrette dressing. All the salad components can also be found in the chicken and berry dressing.
